UK Practice Retreat 2019
10.30am to 6.30pm on Saturday
10.00am to 5.15pm on Sunday
Rigpa UK is delighted to announce our first ever National Practice Retreat, which will be held at the National Centre in London over the weekend of the 16th and 17th March.
Perhaps meditation is your main practice… perhaps Loving Kindness is your mainstay… or maybe you are a Vajrayana practitioner…. Whatever our practice is, this retreat will provide the opportunity to come together as one sangha in the true spirit of retreat, to spend two days dedicated to our dharma practice.
The programme will enable each of us to spend this weekend in a way that is appropriate to our own area of practice, as well as bringing us together to practice as a whole sangha. There will be periods of silence and sitting meditation; sadhana practice for those who wish to join; plus generous breaks where we can re-connect with each other.
The Practice Retreat is open to all Rigpa UK mandala students. If you would like to attend but are not able to due to circumstances such as distance or illness, we hope that some sessions can be streamed from the National Centre to groups around the country. This is not yet confirmed, but please let us know if you are interested in this.
Timings, costs and other practical information
The retreat programme will run from 10.30am to 6.30pm on Saturday, and from 10.00am to 5.15pm on Sunday.
The cost for the full weekend is £50 in total, which we have kept as low as possible so more people are able to attend. However, as we don’t want the cost to be a barrier for those on a low income, please contact email@example.com if you would like to request a concession.
