Rigpa Room Hire
The Rigpa Buddhist Centre has a beautiful big room and is available for hire to groups and individuals whose values are broadly inline with our ethos.
The space has been blessed by many Tibetan Masters and very often visitors remark on its tranquil and peaceful energy. The space is also used as our main shrine room and it is particularly suitable for community groups, voluntary groups, charities, complementary health and bodywork activities and other spiritual groups.
Large Ground floor Room (Main shrine room)
- 93 sqm2 in size, suitable for groups of up to – 200 people depending on the activity but also suitable for smaller groups from 5-100 people. Meditation mats, cushions and chairs are available on request.
- Availability varies, please enquire about rates.
Conditions of use
- There is a shared kitchen for tea breaks. We kindly ask visitors to wash up and leave the kitchen clean.
- In order to maintain the peaceful nature of the space, please do not use mobile phones in public in our meditation shrine room.
- We do not endorse events which we are not promoting or running ourselves, please keep in mind when advertising your event if you are using us as your venue.
- Rigpa UK welcomes people of all faiths and none. Yet you are reminded that this is a religious building and even though you may not share our beliefs, we ask that you are respectful of this.
Payment
- All payments must be made in full in advance.
- For bookings made more than 14 days in advance, a security deposit of 50% is required.
- 100% of the balance must be paid no less than 14 days in advance of the event.
- The 50% security deposit will only be returned if cancellation is made 30 days in advance.
- A £50 surcharge per hour and any associated cost is charged for any bookings that go over the time allotted for their room hire.
