Module 1: Insight & Peace
This five session course takes you on a journey to discover for yourself first-hand, the practice of meditation, as taught in the Buddhist tradition. Filled with clear and simple advice on how to practice and how to develop mindfulness and awareness both ‘on the cushion’ (or chair) and in daily life, this course will support you in your own personal journey of discovering, establishing and deepening the practice of meditation.
Led by meditation instructors with many years of experience the course will draw on advice from the Buddhist teachings as well as insights and findings from recent scientific research. Each session consists of meditation practice, reflection and discussion and includes a comprehensive workbook to support your practice at home.

Module 2: Expanding Practice into Everyday Life
This course continues the practices introduced in Module 1 and is open to complete beginners and those with previous meditation experience. We will learn how to use every aspect of our experience—even the sources of distraction themselves—as a support for calming the mind and finding inner peace. This course introduces using our senses, thoughts and emotions as a support to further develop the practice of meditation and help us expand the practice ‘beyond the cushion’ into everyday life.
Course dates: Thursdays from 7pm to 9pm starting on 28 Feb, 7 March, 14 March, 28 March, 4 April and now extended to 11 April.
