An evening with Dungse Jampal Norbu –
‘Courage & Compassion in a Chaotic World’
Everywhere we look, from distant headlines to our own streets, suffering seems to be rampant. It’s natural to want to shut down, numb ourselves, or retreat when faced with such overwhelm. But what if facing it head-on is not only possible, but the key to true survival?
Buddhist teachings offer a path. They challenge our tendency to shy away and propose an alternative: courageous compassion. It’s not about ignoring the suffering, but opening ourselves to it with empathy and understanding. Sounds radical, right? In a world that often feels like a cruel joke, wouldn’t that be foolish?
Join Dungse Jampal Norbu as he explores the Lojong teachings – powerful Buddhist techniques designed to cultivate this very courage and compassion. These “mind slogans” will act as tools to “dust off your heart and mind,” equipping you to engage with the world’s madness with both open eyes and a contagious smile.
Come discover –
– How to face hardship with bravery and kindness.
– Practical tools to cultivate inner strength and resilience.
– An approach to suffering that empowers you and your community.
This event is not about escaping the world, but embracing it with the transformative power of compassionate action. Are you ready to dive in?
Package deal –
This is a one-of-a-kind opportunity to follow Dungse Jampal Norbu’s three-leg European teaching tour.

Biography –
If you were to ask Dungse-la how long he has been studying the Buddhist path, he would say, “Since I was born!”
Dungse Jampal Norbu is the son and Dharma heir of Dzigar Kongtrul Rinpoche and the teacher Elizabeth Mattis Namgyel. Dungse-la has lived and traveled extensively in Asia, but spent much of his youth in Colorado, USA. Dungse-la teaches classical Mahayana Buddhism for modern meditators. The true-to-life and fresh quality of his teachings is appreciated by many.

Evening sessions in London
Wednesday evenings – Enquire Within
10th April-10th July 2024, 6.30-8.30pm
*Please note: There are no sessions on Wednesday 29th May or 24th April*
Fake news, scams & AI – it’s hard to know who, or what we can trust.
What can we truly rely on to never let us down?
Where is the real source of our well-being?
Who are we truly?
Are we searching in the wrong places for answers, when all the time the answers lie within ourselves?
“Enquire Within” is a series of evenings where we explore the nature of reality using basic Buddhist principles that are as potent now as they were 2,500 years ago. Using contemplations, reflections and discussion we explore how these principles apply personally and practically as we gain a deep, experiential, embodied understanding, an inner knowing.
The evenings will be held by experienced instructors, within the environment of meditation practice.
Come along with us on this journey & Enquire Within.
